There's a thread over on the DRU board about a new track being planned for the Grucci property in Medford. Anybody heard anything about this?

That would be cool. Id still like a track to open that I dont have to drive 2hrs to get to. But atleast its close to someplace I have family. I may need to visit more often :mrgreen:

It's about 15 minutes from my house. That would be awesome!
I'm gonna try to dig up the dirt on this to see if it's real or not. Hopefully it is!

Hell I could drive the car to Bridgeport, jump on the ferry to Port Jeff and drive to the track.

Mike, so what is the travel time to this new facility from....say, the GWB?
Isn't Yaphank Rd way the hell out on the Island?

Its in the Middle of Long Island. Probably about an hour and a half from the GWB.

Yeah, about an hour.
They place they're talking about is exit 67 (I think) off the LIE.

Exit 65, right on Horseblock Rd 3 miles down (about 4 miles from my house). I could drive to the track with the slicks on
