Walter, or anyone else. Does the car actually have to be registered and plated to run in the Pure Street class? Or can it just have all the needed equipment, like wipers, lights, DOT tires?

Four street tires and quiet (not race?) mufflers. No electronics. Fit into ET bracket. Still waiting to see what that is this year. They don't seem to care about plates.

Walt,

I heard they put a cap on pure street at 12.00. I hope Top street comes back. I hit 11.98 on the final Friday test & tune. Will have to stop tuning anymore.

Hey Gene, how's it going? I had heard talk of going back to 12.00. With my new schedule I can run Sunday or Wednesday, but I prefer Wednesday. I don't think I will slow my car down to run slower than 12.00. After the Pure Street season was over I got the Caltrac mono leaf springs on and stopped spinning the tires. I still have plenty of tuning to do and parts to swap. Plus I am building another engine for later in the year...
