I have to weld two brackets on to my roll cage for my seat bracket.
Should I remove the MSD box completely from the car, or just disconnect the wires and leave it mounted?
I don't want to fry the box, and I've heard welding can mess them up.

First I have heard of this. You should get in touch with MSD tech and ask.

Usually disconnecting the battery is enough to protect your electronics. But, you should call MSD to be sure.

I'm doing good.
Getting ready to take the car out to test and tune this friday.
Feels like it's been to long since I drove it.

Have fun. That's what it's all about.
Some day I might finish my Chevelle and join you. I started this project years ago knowing it was going to take some time. But it's turned into more than I expected. #-o

You need to post an update on what you are doing to it in the "What's everyone working on" forum

UPDATE
I unplugged the wires (Broke the Mr. Gasket piece of junk fuse block) and did my welding. I didn't restart it cause I had to fix the (Piece of Junk Mr. Gasket) fuse block.
