ill tell you what guys..i moved away from home (and the track) having left the mirada there...along with my college hockey coaching job, my family, so on...and more than anything..i miss the track... :cry:

as stupid as it sounds...enjoy every minute that you can at the strip because you never know when you might end up living in the motor city..that strangly has no freakin drag strip... :(

:-k I've read in a street racing article and of course at the moment I can't remember where, that no one in the country lives farther than 2 hours from a drag strip.

right..but i live in a small community, and between my stratus, my ramcharger, my finacees modded ram, and the turbo daytona, we dont have room for the mirada and the trailer...i mean, sooner or later ill figure something out..but it sucks.

however, thanks for the links...i will check them out!

my "close track" back home was about two hours with the motor home and such. if driving my slow car up, i could make it in just over an hour...but last year i ran 5 national events, so there were some LONG drives involved.
