We need a logo!
 

Anybody good with Photoshop or have some experience creating logos?

Hey Mikel...I'll give it a shot. I'm pretty good with Photoshop - been making web graphics with it for 6 years, so I might be able to come up with something good.

What's wrong with Sargeant D anyway? I like S.O.D., though I guess the image isn't so friendly. :D

i like the bottom two, think i like black background best. how about shrinking the name a little so a tree could could go on left or right side of it?

They can be tweaked more, so LMK. I'm already thinking the tree could be larger in relation to the letters...I'll mess with it tomorrow.

Just saw Mikel's post too, so I can work on that one as well. If anyone comes up with other ideas, please pass it along.

I tried out that one as a board logo (in the upper left hand corner), it's a little too big. Plus, I think the one with the white background looks better there.

But I like the other one too, if you could use both of them and make a banner or two (to put up on other web sites), I'd be a super-happy man.

OK....so you want the one that's up there now, and the black one with the tree as banners, right? I can put together a couple animated ones. 400x120 is doable, any other sizes?

As for the sizes - I don't know... Are there standard sizes for banners? I looked at two and there were 400x120. Are there other sizes?

That will put a click-able NEBR logo on your sig, allowing other users to come right to the site when they click.

Take a look at my signature below for an idea of what it'll look like.

If Tom comes up with some better logos, I'll put them up as well along with blocks of code to use for linking to them.

No problem. I flew home from Germany on Saturday, and needed some R&R + had a family party yesterday, so I haven't had much time. I'll work on them during the week (possibly tonight).
