What's everyone working on?

For me, my engine is partially torn down.
Seriously bad leakdowns.
So I need to do a valve job and rehone and rering the engine.
Hopefully in 2006 I'll be able to make more than a few passes down the 1320

id like to have a car...i have the stratus, but its a PIG...the missus' truck should be ready for the track once i get some good tires...as the 33 inch kelly AWRs wont get it done at the track...

my dad has the mirada, and he has gotten a 4000 stall, and this week he is picking up 4.56 gears...maybe my car wont be the slowest car here..although i dont know if ill get to make a pass in it...

In the process of building a 506 or 508 Stroker motor. Callies 4.250" crank, 7" Oliver rods , 14 to 1 compression. I had the trany freshened up by John at CRT. Should be ready for middle of March. Got to get some early testing. Should be good for around 1/2 second better, over the 446cu.in. motor.

Sounds great, Paul. I'm always amazed that when someone reaches your level, just how much $$$ it takes to take it just a fraction further. I look foward to seeing you run this year.

Hey, nice talking to you, Dan. I see you will be all ready also. Yes, it starts getting expensive to go a little bit faster! I will have to look at Islands schedule for this year. So far it looks like I will be going to Cecil County in Md. early in March, if the weather is nice?? It looks like they are open saturday March 4th, for test&tune. Then saturday March 11, for test & tune, and sunday March 12 for 1st race. Numidia opens last saturday,March 26 for a test & tune. Talk to you when it gets closer, and car is running!!

New engine combo going into the Demon.
It's so close to being running again, and I have to be here at work today.
I'm hoping this new engine will push it into the mid 11's, and most importantly, Be consistant.

Yes May 20th The Mopar Nats at E-Town. I picked up .2 from last year.
I ran a 12.7. I was a very happy camper!!! My goal was 12.5 for this car when I built it.
I feel I may hit it this fall.

Dump the front bumper and brackets and you should almost be there.
I can't wait to see how this runs now

Still haven't been to the track this year. I will be soon.
Tonights project is to get the upper seat bracket installed.
Drain and refill the cooling system with water and water wetter.
Check the throttle operation, make sure it opens all the way.
Check the ignition timing.
Check all fluids.
Wipe down the car.
And maybe get some sleep

Tomorrows project is to get the trailer out and go over the brakes.
Check the tire pressure.
Clean it.
Check lights, and put the registration sticker on.
Load the car

How long has the trailer been sitting?
Maybe pull the dust covers and check the bearings.

Only been sitting since September-October of last year, That's when I was hauling the Kabota around.
I packed and adjusted the bearings right around June of last year, and it has only gone maybe 200 miles since.
