Shift Light Wanted

I'm looking for an Autometer or MSD shift light, the kind that uses plug in chips. Or even one of those Proform lights that have an adjustable knob on the back.

Let me know if you've got one.

I don't have one for sale but I use the one with the dial on the back. I tape it so it doesn't move accidentally. FYI it works great.

I had one of those once, it blew up as soon as I turned the power on. I think I had it wired wrong, though.

I have an Autometer shift light, I'm looking for another one that I can set at my staging RPM, so I don't have to watch the tach when I'm at the line.

:-k You know that is a great idea =D>

Wow thats a really good idea. How high do you stage though ? I dont think my Autometer can be set under 3500rpms.

The one I have uses plug in chips, I've seen "low RPM chips" that are 1000-3000, plus Autometer has 3000-3800 chips. Last time out I was staging at 3000, but I think I can go a little higher, maybe 3500.

I get it down to 2800. I usually set it to leave at 3250...
