Just went through a tramatic week here.

 

Hope everything is ok. What happened?

 

She cut most of the top of her finger off, right below her her finger nail, but just above the knuckle. Very little holding it on. I can still see it happening in my mind, It was horrible. Caught it in the hinge side of the door
They did surgery on friday morning to reattach everything. Every thing went well with the surgery, but the nail bed my be damaged. We'll see.
I just wish it had happened to me and not my baby.
I think mom and dad were taking it worse than she did. We both have gotten little sleep, and we both feel so bad.

 

Don't blame yourself. Babies don't come with instructions.
I wish your child and family the best. She'll be fine.
