Safety/Lock Wire

Anybody know where I can get some .032 safety/lock wire on the Island?

Try a brake shop.

Found some. A guy I work with is a former aircraft mechanic, he's got some friends who are still doing that. One guy has a spool of it, he's gonna cut me like 20 feet of it.

Do you have the pliers to use, it makes the job a piece of cake ????

Nope, not yet. A neighbor of mine said he has a pair of them, he just had to find them.

On Wilwoods... The 5 bolts that secure the hub to the rotor... Are they all safety wired together? Meaning, a single wire going through all 5 bolts?

2 and 3 might be easier...

The way I did mine was 2 tied together & then the other 3 together

Me too. What a pain in the butt! But it's done!

48 bolts, one length of wire on the main seawater valve on submarines! I've done it.
