Not really, got some small stuff done. In 2 weeks I should be done with most of the house projects and I can get back on to the car.

Still shooting for early spring

Englishtown is definitely the closest, but I really like Saturday racing. I may travel around next year then race the points in 07. I like the way Island breaks there point season in two halves.

How far is it to your closest track?
Mine is 90 miles away at LVD.
I might venture a trip to Island this year. I think it's about 110 miles, but it is mostly highway, unlike going to LVD, so it might take less time to get there.

The hard part is getting off Long Island

Englishtown is the closest 110 miles, but thats using the parkways. I'm not sure how to get there if I trailer the car.

Island is 125 miles, but on the map that looks like an eaiser run

Atco is 160 miles

LVD is 195 miles

If Long Island/Suffolk County/Brookhaven Town where smart, I'd only be 4 miles from the proposed Top Gun Sports and Entertainment Park

Let's hope that goes thru for you guys on the Island.
A few years ago they had proposed Building a track next to Stewart Air Force Base (Stewart Airport) Which would have been less than 20 miles from me and BBLM. It would have been a Nascar Type track, Road course and Drag strip. They ended up shooting it down.
