Hi...new here

Hello...my name is Patrick, and as the name will indicate, I have a dodge Mirada...ive been looking around a bit for a racing forum, and all I have come across is forums full of mustang owners with big mouths, and bigger ETs...It seems that there are alot of mopar here...

My other vehicles are a 2002 Dodge stratus Rt coupe, a 1994 Modified Ram which will be hitting the track soon (GF's ride), and a 1987 daytona shelby Z, which is in progress due to some top end noise.

so...hi.

the last 5 or so years i ran at Pittsburgh raceway park, which is where my best times came from. I also run quaker city in ohio, but that track is slower as it is a bit uphill from 1000' out. i also ran the chrysler classics national series in sportsman, finishing 9th last year, 4th the year before, and 7th the year before that. sadly i have moved, and we dont have room here for the trailer and mirada, so she didnt make the trip. my dad, who built the motor, has kept the car safe and sound back home, and after new bearings, rings, valve springs, timing chain, and 4.56 gears, hes hoping to get inot the high 11s...on 87 octane.

im not kidding

BBL, my "Race mirada" is an 83...i also have an 81, and i just had my 82 junked after stripping it down.

Welcome Patrick, I'm a Mustang owner, but don't hold that against me

My 1st car was almost a 383 Challenger, but dad would let me get it. He said I would have wrapped it around a tree.

well 82Gt, from what i have read of your posts, you arent the typical "if its not a mustang, it doesnt belong on the track" type of owner..
