I would think we'd want the URL on it, right? And they can do it without the spaces in the URL, right? The proof you sent me had spaces in it...

fastbackcuda 03-10-2005 09:52 PM

Id do the URL. But you dont need the www. part. the ones Im having done are FORABODIESONLY.COM

Yeah, I guess. Anybody else?

fastbackcuda 03-11-2005 08:26 AM

Price is good to me.

mikelbeck 03-16-2005 04:59 PM

Tony - did you order any of these yet?

onehellofadart 03-16-2005 05:04 PM

Yes , :-k thought I told you that.
Anyway, I got some of the things I ordered but she made a
mistake and put spaces inbetween the words.
She's redoing the address and will be mailing it out again.

Maybe you did, I forgot...

When you get them, let's see some pics of them!

onehellofadart 03-16-2005 05:27 PM

Will do

onehellofadart 03-18-2005 10:59 AM

Ok I got my NorthEastBracketRacing.com cling-on thingy.
Looks pretty good. Except I have to trim alot of extra vinyl
above and below url. This will have to be addressed if you guys
order any.
Anyway I'll see how it looks on the glass and try to take a picture
this weekend and post it.

onehellofadart 03-19-2005 09:26 AM

Here it is the Clingy Thingy. I put it on my trucks cap rear window
Its very heavily tinted and it was visable but not like the picture
posted.

I like it! How long is it, and how tall?

It goes on the inside of the window, right?

onehellofadart 03-19-2005 09:41 AM

2" x 36", and yes inside window.

onehellofadart 03-21-2005 01:31 PM

Nobodys interested in the clingy nebr for their cars? ](*,)

Did you get a bunch of them? Or do they have to be ordered one at a time?

How "clingy" are they? Will they stay on for a long length of time or do they eventually fall off?

I was thinking about getting one for my truck.

Also, I'm having Harris Decals (www.harrisdecals.com) make up a bunch of 6" x 3" decals with our new logo on them. If anybody's interested in one of those, let me know. They're $3.00 each, including shipping.

onehellofadart 03-21-2005 02:34 PM

I only had the prototype made up for me.
I put the one she made wrong (North East Bracket Racing.com)
on my truck cap. So far its still there.
No skin off my azz I just thought there would be a little enthusiasm
about it.
Was anyone interested in the permenant one you got?
I'll buy one of the little decals you had made.

sickt7cuda 03-21-2005 03:29 PM

I'll take one of each. Let me know how much and who and where to send it to.
Dan

onehellofadart 03-21-2005 04:10 PM

I'll wait till the end of the week to see if anyone else wants one.
Then I'll place the order for that amount. I don't know what shipping will be at this point. Mine was sent UPS, that was a waste of money.
Probably US mail them.

sickt7cuda 03-21-2005 06:31 PM

That's cool, just let me know. Tony, how's the car coming? Have you planned for your 1st day yet for T&T?

I'm just waiting for the new cam to arrive before I go changing the heads. It would be silly not to do it all at once. Probably lookin' at 2 more weeks.

onehellofadart 03-21-2005 07:07 PM

Dan, Car is in shop. The 4:30's are in and set. The reverse
Griner manual valve body and 4.2 lever is in and new 3500-3600
torque convertor is on. Having a custom pedestal made for the new reverse Hurst pistal grip quarter stick (still have the bench seat).
Then I have to go for a fitting  for the correct height and
comfort. :p Was real tough column shifting.
Should get it back in about a week. Then break in the rear. Hopefully ready for mid April.
When I was a young man I did all the work myself on my back in my
driveway with drop lights and 90 wt. in my hair. Not anymore.
Thank God [-o< I have a real good job and a GREAT wife.

fastbackcuda 03-21-2005 08:55 PM

I'll take one of each.

sickt7cuda 03-21-2005 09:09 PM

That's sounding real good, Tony. "Going for a fitting"....sounds like you're buying a suit. Just be cautious if the guy asks if you dress left or right

I'm also blessed with a GOOD wife. We have an understanding; I won't ask her how much she spends on clothes and she won't ask me how much I spend on car parts.

I still prefer to do the work myself, for several reasons. I've had bad expierences with lousy mechanics who overcharge and don't do what they say they did. Secondly, I get alot of satisfaction from accomplishing something that most people would never take on. Thirdly, I have alot of free time and if I wasn't spending time on the car, I'd just be getting into trouble. Later,
Dan

mikelbeck 03-22-2005 09:55 AM

This is getting a little confusing... I'm gonna start new threads about the decals.
