I'm not having the best luck getting my drag springs in the car.

I have no motor or tranny in the car so I can't jack up the lower control arm to condense the spring.

I rented the inside spring compressor, but then I can only compress it on to the lower control arm. It reduced the spring enough, but then I can’t get it to line up with the upper spring perch.

I tried the outside spring compressor, but when compressed the rod extends past the spring.

This is starting to **** me off, plus I’m hammering my pretty springs up.

I called a couple of local spring places to see if someone will compress and bind the springs, but no one wants to do that for me.

Does anyone know of any spring places that will work with me?

I was hoping to get the suspension in and run the new brake lines with the motor out to make my life easier, but why should anything on this car go easy.

Buy 8 50lb bags of sand [about $2.50 each] and stack them in your engine bay. Or just buy the bags and fill them with dirt from your yard.
