Winterize Yet?

Just curious to see if anyone else has out their car to bed for the winter. I put mine down yesterday

Had the car in the trailer running the engine 'til it started to run of of fuel, then dumped some Dextron down the carb 'til she choked. As thick white smoke billowed out, a neighbor came running over thinking I was on fire and in trouble. He couldn't see me through the smoke, but called my name and asked me if I was OK. I said I'm fine, and he asked me twice if I was sure I was fine. Anyways, it was kinda funny.

Damn, it's gonna be a long winter! I'm going to Las Vegas soon and am going to go to The LV Motor Speedway to spectate. Should be fun.

Sad time of year . I try to keep mine going.
I'll start mine twice a month. I'm a streetable so I keep driving
as long as there is no snow or ice. I still plan on going to the track
once more this season in the next week or so.

I disconnected the truck from the trailer, so I am done racing. I still have to drain the water and fill with antifreeze. With the enclosed trailer I don't have to do much more. I used to have to clean out the garage, but the K-car is in there now.

Not yet!! I just got it back together this week, so I am going to play a few more weekends. The car was down for about 5 weeks, since labor day weekend. I blew the rear 3 weekends in a row . When I am all done, in a few weeks , then I am going to pull the motor for some modifications over the winter!!

I need to go drain the water and fill with anti-freeze. Man, sat morning therewas frost on my windshield. I'm not looking forward to this cold weather and that four letter word.

I might try and squeeze in a test and tune on the 30th. I'll see what the weather is like. I still have to get the dang thing to idle right.
It almost looks like the timing varys and messes with the idle.
Trying to fight two things at once.

Walt, Or anybody else, do you run anything else in the cooling system besides water, during the racing season?
