I got my DRE diaper installed today. I received it on monday. Test fit it. Sent it back late monday , to have 3" added to both sides of the diaper( to go farther up the side of the block). I received in the mail this morning(friday). I installed today before leaving work. It fits good. Here are a few before, and after pics.

Do the straps go over the top of the engine?

 

No, they mount thru a bracket . That you install to your front and rear header bolt. Here are 2 pics of mounting tabs.
