Trailer parts?

Trailer parts?
Excuse me if this post is in the wrong forum!
My wife was complaining about my open trailer killing the grass by the side of the house, so I keep it at a friend's house, which is usually vacant. But, the friend needs the money so she will be renting out her house. Which means I need to move the trailer back to my house. I now have nowhere to store it. To keep domestic peace, which is very important if you are married (or even thinking about it!), I need to build a trailer to fit in my garage, along with my car (this would also eliminate my FAVORITE racing activity - loading and un-loading the car before and after!).
I have been able to get most of the materials (angle iron, bar stock, etc.) on LI but can not seem to find all. Does anyone know of a place in the NY metro area that sells 3500lb trailer axles in a variety of widths and other necessities?
The only trailers available for my specific requirement are either A) custom (which equals more expensive than a 24' enclosed trailer) or B) utility trailers with 2000lb axles.
Any help is appreciated!

No, it doesn't sound dumb and, yes, I did. There are not alot near me in Lindenhurst. Mostly boat trailers with lighter axles than I need. I called a few from the phone book but either got an answering machine or 'no' as an answer.
Other than that, I have found a few places in upstate NY, NJ and DE. My quest will continue for a closer one.................

The other is in Coram or Middle Island. I think they're called "Heavy Haulers", but I'm not positive.
The first one is a much larger place, they may have what you're looking for.
