New parts.

The car should run oretty good this year. I have a new set of M/T drag radials on the way $300 shipped and I just picked up a transmision. Its got about $3000 worth of work done to it (from what the guy said) 904, low 1st gear, T/A valvebody, transhield and a 8" T/A converter. I also have a set of 3.91s going in it that I got from walter.

I got the trans from BossVega's cousin. It was in his 9 second tube chassis Duster. He put the motor in a Tube chassis Daytona and switched to a PowerGlide. I paid $500 for it.

I want to pick up a A@A valve body from Chris though.

Yeah I know I have to do those, fix the LCA bushings, and a few other small things.

The guys I bought the trans from said this one was 3500-3800 but that seems pretty tight for a 8" The T/A site lists a few 8" converters ( not mine though) and there rated at 5500

I'd agree . You would think maybe 4600.

I'll give turbo action a call and see what they say. I here they keep good records of the converters.

Should be fun on the street though.
