I was talking with one of my neighbors the other day - she's an artist and said she could make me some up new logos for this (and a few other) sites. I'll post them all here and you all can let me know what you think.

Here's the first one... I think it's a little too artsy-fartsy for this site.

 

Here's the second try... I told her she's got to ditch the figure 8 and the checkered flags. We don't use those in drag racing, do we?

 

We're supposed to be going out tonight with her and her husband, I'll try to explain to her what I'm looking for...

Plus, if you look closely, you'll notice that all the lettering on the car is reversed - she flipped the picture.

She's coming by today, we're going to go through all the photographs I have (which is many!) to find a good shot of a couple of cars at the starting line. I think I've got a few shots of my neighbor's Camaro in a wheels-up launch. That'll be kinda cool.
