Coverter cover

Who's runing one and who's not.
The sheet metal plate that covers the lower front of the tranny, for converter bolt access.

Not.
I did put one on when I cracked the convertor. It held the blotter so I could get the round in.

I believe that is the inspection cover. I didn't put mine back on. As I can recall it rubbed slightly so I left it off.

Mine rubs also, That's why I asked.
Makes a horrible noise when those bolts hit the sheet metal.

If it has ever been bent, forget it. Are you running the right bolts?

Yes, It has the correct, low profile headed bolts, that are a pain to tighten.
I might try to trim the cover, but I doubt it will be worth the effort.
