Who is ready for RACING 2007 ????

Who is ready for Racing this year?? All that I have to do is wash and wax the car. All other work is done on the car. I changed from 4.30 gears, to 4.10 gears. I hope it takes a little wheelie out of the starting line?? Bought a new Dodge Diesel truck to tow the trailer in november of last year. I will be heading to Cecil County in a week or 2. Whenever the wether gets nice enough. How is everybody else doing??

Not ready yet. The trailer is still behind the snow bank. I need to finish up aligning the pullies. Fix the neutral safety switch wires so they don't fall off. Quick tune up.
I'm also thinking about getting the mono springs for the rear, and a set of slicks.
And, We'll see if I need to invest in the tranny and converter.

I got my car back together this week after making the change from a solid cam to a Roller and opened up the heads to a Max Wedge port size. The engine previously made 617hp and after the mods made 689hp@7000. I also sent my converter in for an adjustment. Hopefully I can make it out for a T&T before the index race at Atco on the 25th.

I just got all of the snow cleared out from in front of the trailer 2 days ago. It was 72* yesterday. Now it is 33*s with snow. They are calling for anywhere from 5" to 12" by saturday morning. Hopefully I will be going to Cecil County next weekend!!!

I hear you . I was going to get the trailer out this weekend, get it ready and go get the registration/inspection done. Instead, I put the plow on the truck when I got home.

I know that feeling. Mine's 250' long, and gravel, so shoveling is a real pain. I have a plow for the truck this year, so I do Mine with that (and push the gravel around). I also do my Grandfathers, and his is over 600', then I head to my parent's and do there little driveway, then it's off to my in-laws to do theirs also. I'll be busy friday night , saturday morning.

The index race at Atco is on Sunday March 25th.
E-Town is also adding 10.0.11.0,12.0 index racing to there schedule on some Saturdays. I can post the E-Town shedule and rules.

Yep it should pick up a bit. I`m hoping to get into the low 10 second range

I painted the sheet metal and permanently installed it. So now I can complete the cage. Got going on completing the roll cage. My goal this year is to get the rear under it, completly rebuild the front end, and wire/plumb it. Anything more will be a bonus.

Pictures? Not ready for pictures.

I have a list of excuses why it's nowhere near completion. People have built and sold their cars in the time it's taken me to complete this one. But it really boils down to burnout.

Well I made it out this Sunday at E-Town for the first time this season.
First pass off the trailer was 10.30 @ 130.97 2nd pass was 10.22 @ 132.16.
So I put 10.21 on the window and went out in the first round with a 10.28 @ 131.54
