2nd!

Looks like I've 2nd out of the gate!

Here's my update...

Picked up a new sponsor for some races this season - 84 Lumber. My brother is the manager at the Smithtown store, he got us some $$$, some decals, a shirt and a hat. Hey, it's better than nothing!

As for racing, I went to E-Town last weekend, lost in the 2nd round. I pulled up to the line, brought the motor up on the converter and it jumped forward. I was able to stop it, but I was deep staged. By that time my concentration was blown I went red... way red, like 240 something. Wouldn't have mattered much, the guy I was up against ran his number and wouldn't had me covered anyway.

We're going again this coming Sunday (the 27th). Anybody else going to E-Town?

Do you know why it jumped at the line like it did?
Is DodgeForum a sponor also?
You're car looks a lot like mine, with the Draglites on the front and the Centerlines on the back.
I should post up a more recent picture.

Yep... If I bring it up to 3000 with just pushing down on the brake pedal it'll pull forward. I usually pump it a couple of times, then bring it up when I'm pre-staged and bump in. This time I guess I didn't pump the brakes and when I brought it up it took off on me.

They were for one or two races, I didn't get around to taking the decals off. I don't have anything to put there, so I figured I'd leave them on there and give them some free publicity.
