Chances are.... I'll be into the motor thru the 1st, unless I get lucky and finish sooner. Not that it's a real big deal, I just have to find the time to do it.

I checked a few things, took it for a spin and loaded it back in the trailer. We are going out for dinner with my wife's family after racing. They live close to Lebanon Valley so that is where I am going. I do like Island on Sundays... maybe next time.

Just got home from Island. Man, what a gorgeous day!
I went to a different spark plug this year and the 1st pass went like this; bog, surge, bog, surge, then it went into atrial fibrillation, I think Back in the pits, pulled a plug and it was white. Went up 4 jet sizes, front and rear and the motor came to life. Ran a 12.05, a 12.09, and a 12.07 @ 110 - 111 mph. Too bad it wasn't race day.

B3Cuda (Rich) was there with his fine lookin' '70 Cuda. Man, that 440 can motor down the track. You did a great job on the car, Rich, and it was great to meet you.

Yes it was nice to meet you as well, hopefully next time the car will go a bit better. I am going to try a different plug to get away from the indexing, fix my MSD box & go at it again. Hopefully next weekend.

After looking at the slip last night I need to try some different rpm on the line, the 60' didn't match the et so well. I think the car should hopefully go a 10.20 when I get the motor & suspension working better. It was tough to see the squat on the rear tires, but that it what test & tune is for.

The last pass was a 10.56 @ 125, 60' was a 1.50 & I was off the throttle a little bit & shut off early I was happy with that. Now I just need to work on those lights

They said there is at least one opening on May 12 for ATCO, if you are interested, let me know.
